Mexico, a magnificent Skål International adventure
Mexico is a country with a rich cultural and natural heritage, encompassing everything from stunning landscapes to cities influenced by pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern elements.
With an area of 1,960,189 km², it ranks 14th in the world by size.
A distinctive aspect of its identity is its cuisine, which originated in the pre-Hispanic period. Traditional dishes were based on fundamental ingredients such as corn, beans, and chili, complemented by herbs, meats, chocolate, fowl, and fish.
Skål International Mexico is an organization of tourism professionals with over 900 members representing various sectors: hoteliers, restaurateurs, travel agencies, transporters, universities, congress specialists, and producers of tourist goods such as wines, tequila and mezcal.
The organization has 27 Clubs distributed in key destinations, each with its characteristics and attractions, from beaches on the Pacific and Caribbean coasts to colonial and modern cities. Skål International members in Mexico strive to offer personalized treatment and a unique experience in each destination.
The commitment of Skålleagues in Mexico to sustainability is evident; they have actively participated in the Skål International Sustainable Tourism Awards presenting 18 projects in 2025. In addition to seeking growth, they focus on the retention of their members and have managed to have all 27 Clubs include talented professional women in tourism.
Their excellence is reflected in the history of the organization: in the 91 years of Skål International, three Mexican clubs (Cancún, Ixtapa, and Bahías de Huatulco) have been awarded as Skål Club of the Year.
If you decide to visit Mexico, you will be welcomed and attended to exceptionally by the members of Skål International in the different tourist destinations.
