Dear Skålleagues,

I hope you enjoyed the Holidays and are ready to take on what 2021 will bring to us! The first half of the year looks like COVID-19 will continue to have big impact on the travel and tourism industry globally. Although the cases, lockdowns and curfews differ country to country, it is mostly likely that we will continue to meet virtually or in hybrid formats until the vaccinations are widespread and have proven effective.

On January 18th, your 2021 Executive Board under President Bill Rheaume’ leadership has conducted its first meeting. It took place on a virtual platform and started the year strong with high energy and set of goals to serve you in best possible way.

The theme for this year set by President Bill directs us to focus on our collective passion for tourism and Skål International, to increase the value of Membership while maximizing visibility of Skål International in general. We are the largest Travel and Tourism association around the globe with the most prominent professionals in the industry. In 2021, let us work together closely to put this vision into action and show the world that Skål International and its members are standing strong and together during the most difficult times the world has gone through.
